In order to make the international students' lives in Japan enjoyable and fruitful, the International Affairs Center (IAC hereafter) gives advice on university life per se, e.g. accommodation, medical care, part-time jobs, residence procedures, and recreation.
Entrance Examination
For information on first-year, third-year transfer, and graduate school (Master's course) matriculations, see the Boshu Yoko (List of Entrance Requirements). Inquire at the IAC for further details.

Finding Accommodation

Tutorial System
In order to help the incoming international students adjust smoothly to university life here, to help them increase their understanding of the lectures, and to help them make friends, the IAC pairs international students with a Japanese student tutor upon request. This service is free of charge.
Language Courses
The university offers the 'Japanese I & II' and 'Japanese Conversation I & II' courses to international students.
Application for External Scholarships
The IAC takes active part in searching for and introducing various scholarships offered by organizations external to Baika Women's University.

For help in areas other than the above, the center can refer the students, in difficult cases, to the university's counseling center.
