1. The Japanese version of the Message Board is mainly intended for the members of the John Steinbeck Society of Japan, but anyone can join, and so long as you have Japanese language kit installed to your computer, you can participate in this forum from anywhere in the world.
2. The English version of the Message Board is open to everyone, there won't be any problem for displaying messages anywhere in the world.
3. The qualification for the membership is that you love John Steinbeck and his works.  At present the membership is open to the public.  But for your own reference you have to register for the first time.
